-2005-

This was my first set up. It was basically the creation of the facade, the columns, two pieces of fence, and Chaneys dog house. I also made the cage with a hanging skeleton but could never get the lighting right so it was hardly ever seen. The one thing not shown is the projection of ghost on our garage door.

-THE CANVAS FACADE-

Here is the facade at twilight and lit in the darkness. It is a 16'x20'canvas drop cloth from HOME DEPOT. I basically primed it grey and then my kind friend Lar chipped in and pretty much painted the rest.
He is a great artist . ( www.lartist.com )

-THE COFFIN-

This guy had a voicebox that quietly cries 'Help me...'

-THE SCARECROW-

This is a nice night shot that shows the underlighting of red I flood our tree with, which can be seen from quite a distance. I based this figure on a wicked tarot card I saw once. His arms are made from branches, and the layers of cheese cloth blow nicely in the wind.

-THE GRAVEYARD-

-THE GARGOYLES-

I could not find affordable gargoyles so I got these 14" rubber rats from WAL-MART. They work just as well. The demon masks were from the Dollar Store. Just needed some paint TLC.

I think we had 30 kids which was much improved over the 7 we had in 2004. Not a bad year......
