-2007-

So another year comes to a close. We handed 132 loot bags, so that was a slight increase over last year. Not bad for a Wednesday night! Thanks to everyone for chipping in for the fund raiser. We raised $85 for the juvenile diabetes, which is pretty good considering only a handful of folks knew we were collecting. We will do it up right next year and get registered on the diabetes website.

This year, I expanded into the driveway, as I bought a 9 foot high inflatable 'Thunder Tunnel', which has flashing lights and thunder sound inside it. This had some fencing on either side so kids had to come through the tunnel or the graveyard. No easy way in...

I added the logo cornerstone this year, and my friend Laer built me this great poseable creature. Another big shout out to Laer for doing detail work on many props on Halloween day, and for taking all these photographs!

...And Here's One Laer Did

This next image gives a pretty good overall impression of the layout and lighting. The rope lighting for the path worked out nicely. From the left is the arch of the tunnel, the FCG ghost in the garage, the neon green cornerstone logo, the blues to reds, and the colour changing skulls in the columns. I am happy that tree is so gnarly...

-THE TALKING REAPER-

'Say Hello To Your Mom For Me!...'

The 7 foot high talking reaper was a hit! We recorded about 15 minutes worth of wisecracks which got some good chuckles. The head and jaw movement behaved.

-OTHER NEW ADDITIONS-

The Graveyard Ghost In Daylight...

This was a prop ghost I got for $2 on Oct 30th! A little 18 inch black light, and it was good to go.

A New Coffin Ghoul

The Zombie

We lit the zombie with two strobes so we got great moving shadows on the boards behind him.

-SCARING THE KIDS-

So, this was me standing very still, pretending to be a (zombie) prop. Standing on the board worked surprisingly well with regards to fooling some folks.
